The MARCHINVIT Brothers, c. 1770 A so-called ‘onion’ pocket watch for the Ottoman market, made of silver (800 parts per thousand) and metal, with a double case decorated with repoussé foliage motifs. The second case is decorated with figures (damaged). The white enamelled dial features Turkish numerals (damaged). Ornaments on the hands. Hand-wound mechanical movement with a cock, signed, with key (does not work). Diameter: 60 mm. Condition: Fairly good. Gross weight: 170.3 g
