LEPINE, Paris, c. 1805
18-carat yellow gold (750 thousandths) pocket watch with a fluted bezel. The brass dust cover is engraved ‘Lépine, Paris, watchmaker to the Empress’ and numbered 429. The dial is white enamelled (with some damage) and features a guilloché brass centre, painted Arabic numerals and a painted railway track (restored), with blued steel Breguet-style hands.
Cock-shaped movement (key missing).
Diameter: 55 mm. Condition: Fairly good. Gross weight: 104.7g
