Description
A bi-compax chronograph from the 1940s–1950s, with a round 18-carat yellow gold (750) case and a clipped case back (numbered). Anti-magnetic metal case back. Silvered dial (with recessed markings) bearing a later ‘Cronographe Suisse’ inscription, with applied Arabic numerals and baton hour markers, and a painted telemeter scale. Recessed seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock and recessed minutes sub-dial at 3 o’clock. Square pushers and a gold-plated metal crown (missing parts). Leather strap with a gold-plated metal pin buckle.
Landeron 51 hand-wound mechanical movement (in working order, requires servicing).
