Description
A bi-compax chronograph from the 1940s, with a round case in 18-carat rose gold (750 thousandths) and a clipped case back (numbered, with impact marks). Silvered (yellowed) dial with Arabic numerals and painted tachymetric and telematic scales. Seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, recessed minutes sub-dial at 3 o’clock. Blued steel hands. Square pushers and a gold-plated metal crown (missing parts). Leather strap with a gold-plated metal pin buckle fitted. Landeron 48 hand-wound mechanical movement (in working order, requires servicing). Diameter: 34 mm. Condition: good. Gross weight: 37.2 g
