Ernest LEVEILLE (1841–1913)
A clear glass vase overlaid with opal and reddish-brown glass, with an ovoid body featuring indentations and an open neck formed by three waves of coiled patterns, painted in gold with Rococo ornamentation.
Decorated with a reddish-brown and violet marbled effect featuring mica inclusions resembling aventurine.
Signed ‘E. Léveillé Paris’ on the underside of the base.

A colourless glass vase covered with opal and reddish-brown tinted layers, with a gold-painted Rococo-style decoration on the rim and on the body, featuring reddish-brown and purple interlayer powders amongst which mica inclusions mimic aventurine. Signed “E. Léveillé Paris” beneath the base.
