Charles SCHNEIDER (1881–1953) – Le Verre Français
‘Digitales’
Circa 1925–1927
Double-walled baluster-shaped glass vase with a wide flared neck and an overhanging circular foot, with engraved-in-reserve decoration, vitrified on the surface, depicting flowers and leaves in reddish-gold and violet hues on an acid-frosted pink ground mottled with white and pink intercalary powders.
Signed “Le Verre Français” on the foot and bearing an old label reading “R. Bonnaud Bijoutier 28 Rue de la République Fontenay Lecomte”, beneath the base.

A “Foxglove” double-layer glass vase by Le Verre Français, circa 1925–1927, with an etched design of flowers and leaves on a pink acid-etched background, marbled with white and pink interlayer powders.
Signed “Le Verre Français” on the foot and bearing an old “R. Bonnaud Bijoutier 28 Rue de la République Fontenay Lecomte” label beneath the base.
