The Countess works equally with organic materials – such as marine bones (sculptures, jewellery) which have a totemic quality – and industrial materials, and for good reason: she is the wife of the Count de la Poype, inventor of the Mehari and founder of Marineland.
She works in her studio, drawing inspiration from the polycarbonate used in the Mehari, and creates sculptures using this material. A Belgian, she was a top-level athlete and holds a doctorate in law. She exhibits worldwide, in Asia, Monaco and the United States.
