Brigitte Helenbeck decided to organise an exhibition in a scrapyard in Contes by printing works onto huge tarpaulins; she invited Arno Bani to take part. Originally from the Var, this self-taught artist made a name for himself very early on in the fashion world, and his photograph appeared on the front page of the Sunday Times. Michael Jackson took notice and asked the young photographer to produce a series of portraits for him, which would go on to make the artist famous.
