Description
A pair of chiselled and gilded bronze candelabra. The tapered, fluted shaft is adorned with foliage motifs and topped with ram’s heads. It supports five candle-holders arranged around a raised central light. The whole is embellished with garlands of pearls and cut crystal pendants, some of which are pear-shaped.
They rest on a circular base decorated with water leaf motifs, friezes of pearls and foliage motifs.
Dated to the 19th century. In the Louis XVI style.
