A pair of chiselled and gilded bronze vases, ovoid in shape, decorated in high relief with birds with outstretched wings amidst foliage. They are flanked by two curved handles with leaf-shaped fittings and surmounted by a palmette-shaped element. They rest on a fluted pedestal ending in a circular base decorated with a frieze of leaves and small flowers. Mounted on oval plinths of veined grey marble, encircled by a frieze of gilded bronze beads.
