Description
A set of four chiselled and gilded bronze candlesticks, the shafts richly decorated with motifs of foliage, palmettes, shells and scrolls. They rest on a broad circular base with a relief decoration of foliage and medallions, edged with an openwork frieze. The candle holders are supported by circular candle sockets with engraved and chiselled decoration. Three of the candle holders bear an ‘R’ monogram; the fourth has no monogram.
