Joseph Victor Roux Champion (1871–1953) – Paris, the banks of the Seine and the Académie Française. Circa 1937? Drawing in black chalk and watercolour on paper mounted on heavy paper. Signed in chalk lower left. 25 x 31 cm. It would appear that the subject depicts the dismantling of the Pont des Saint-Pères, which was replaced by the Pont du Carrousel that we know today.
