Henri Rivière (1864–1951) – The Last Rays. 1902. Printed by Verneau. Original colour lithograph on ivory-coloured vellum. Monogrammed and signed on the plate in the lower left-hand corner. Plate: 59.7 x 24 cm; sheet: 68 x 30.5 cm. Mounted on canvas. A trace of a horizontal crease in the lower part, a small tear in the left margin. This is plate 16 of the series ‘La féerie des heures’. Reference: Toudouze 163. It depicts a peasant woman in Brittany herding her flock of sheep home at sunset. It would appear that the scene depicted takes place in Loguivy in the Côtes d'Armor
