Condition A, perfect state of conservation. Produced for an exhibition of Saul Steinberg's work at the Galerie Maeght in 1970, this poster highlights the artist's singular universe, based on drawing, visual humour and an intellectual approach to the image. A major figure in twentieth-century graphic art, Steinberg developed a body of work on the borderline between illustration, conceptual art and satire, notably through his collaborations with the international press. This poster is based on the lithograph "Platea", published in an edition of 150 copies. Poster with wide margins, before cutting.
