Antoni Tàpies (1923-2012) - Sables d'Olonne, 1978. Original lithograph in colours on wove paper, 88 x 61 cm. Condition A, perfect state of conservation. This work was created for his solo exhibition at the Abbaye Sainte-Croix in Sables d'Olonne in 1978. In it, Tàpies displays his characteristic graphic strength, combining raw gesturality with research into signs and materials. The composition, whose visual was used for the event's poster, is characterised by the use of deep blacks and organic forms evoking primitive writing or scars on a wall.
