Michel Jouenne (1933-2021) - Barques. Original lithograph in colours on wove paper, 53.5 x 76 cm. Signed in pencil by the artist lower right and justified 12/100 lower left. Condition A, perfect state of preservation. This work is typical of Jouenne's style, a painter of the Navy and a figure of the École de Paris, who was able to renew figurative landscape painting with a vigorous brushstroke and generous subject matter. In this composition, the artist treats the theme of boats with remarkable plastic force, where the lines of the hulls intertwine in a play of dynamic reflections.
