Polychrome enamelled porcelain perfume bottle depicting the German musician Joseph Hoffnar Fröhlich (1696–1757), with the head forming the stopper. Damage to the stopper and minor restorations. Russia, private workshop of S. A. Golenichev, second half of the 19th century, based on a design by Joseph Kandler for the Meissen porcelain works. Manufacturer’s mark stamped in relief, painter’s mark in black under the glaze. H. 21.5 cm.
