In-12, 160 pp., (1) f., fawn half-calf, ribbed spine decorated with gold thread. POUY, F. (Historical Research on Printing and Bookselling in Amiens) no. 35. Jean Musnier is thought to have been the 10th printer in Amiens. First edition. Claude de Mons, born in Amiens in 1591, a Councillor at the Amiens Presidium, was a poet and the author of *Chants oraculeux* and *Chastes merveilles d’amour*. A singular work in which the author took pleasure in creating anagrams of the names of famous figures, accompanied by verses in Latin or French.
