Dedicated to Cardinal Mazarin. A Mazarinist pamphlet recounting all the events of the time from the year 1648 until the end of 1650 following the Battle of Rethel (Moreau). Before being appointed Bishop of Amiens in 1653, Father François Faure had rendered services to the Queen Regent during the Fronde and was assistant tutor to the young King Louis XIV.
