Berlin, 1776. 2 vols. in-12, XXVIII–286 pp., (3) ff., pp. 287–583, fawn-coloured leather with speckled pattern, plain spine with decoration. BRUNET II, 1720. BLANC II, 1304. Translated by Lefevre de Villebrune. Anton Francesco Grazzini (1503–1584), an Italian comic playwright, known as Lasca, was one of the founders of the Accademia della Crusca (1582). From 1550 until his death, he wrote comedies that are notable for their burlesque inventiveness and skilful plot development.
