First collected edition. Volume I contains his memoirs concerning literary history and his relationship with the Grande Mademoiselle. Volume II contains the two tales parodying utopian works which he wrote in collaboration with her: *Relation de l’Ile imaginaire* and *Histoire de la Princesse de Paphlagonie*. *The History of the Princess of Paphlagonia* (1659) is a ‘subtle and ingenious satire in which, under borrowed names, the author takes several jabs at the ladies of the court of his time’ (Drujon II, 837).
