Description
Pastry stamp
Made of boxwood and monoxyl. Cylindrical in shape. The body features an intaglio-carved design of leafy branches enclosing a cornflower at their centre, followed by a niche surmounted by a crown, carved with a stylised fleur-de-lis; the whole is set between two bands of nail-mark carvings. A frieze of zigzags in relief and another of engraved chevrons complete the body. The ends are adorned with two interlocking hearts and, on the other side, the initials ‘IM’ between two commas.
