Description
Chestnut-cracking shoe
Made of wood, wrought iron and leather. Thick wooden sole, studded with square-section spikes featuring serrated barbs and fitted with clabète nails. Two laced straps to secure the shoe to the foot. Bears the owner’s mark ‘IPR’ on the wooden sole.
