Made of yellow copper. The body is circular in shape and slightly flared, decorated with a frieze of lozenges between two rows of circles; it features a movable handle and a lid with an openwork design of hearts, circles, triangles, stars, spikes, squares, … and friezes of circles forming a polylobed pattern. A slender, tall handle pinched onto the lid. Bears the maker’s name and date: ‘CATHERINNE VICOGNE – 1753’.
