Description
Lace-making folder
Made of stained, single-piece wood, engraved and carved. Rectangular in shape and decorated on both sides with an altar, featuring the initials ‘MAS’ in openwork. On the altar is a radiant monstrance, flanked by two candlesticks. One side features two doves carrying a branch in their beaks, beneath the dove of the Holy Spirit, whilst the other side bears the date ‘1809’. The border is outlined with a simple line. Bears the handwritten inscription in ink: ‘34 aunes ½ à 1600’
