Description
Farrier’s horsehair comb Made of cast brass. The backplate is beautifully crafted and depicts a man in a suit and top hat, feeding his horse. The horse is harnessed. The piece extends into a comb and is topped with a hanging ring. It is housed in a display stand made of leather and coated canvas, painted green and yellow. A decoration of studs highlights the border and forms two flowers. Comes with a studded, re-stitched leather hanging ring 19th century Height of the comb: 14.7 cm – Height of the display stand: 20.5 cm Damage and losses.
