Elaborate money box
Made from carved walnut, leather and metal. Rectangular in shape, resting on four legs, with a sliding lid featuring a flared rectangular opening, finished with a cross. A leather insert at the base, with a slit running across its width. The body is complemented by a striking, arrow-shaped slanted drawer, allowing the owner to retrieve their savings. Decorated with carved stars within circles, lozenges, two simplified florets and, on the lid, a central cartouche featuring two stars and studded buttons at the corners.
