Embellished print
Made from various papers, textiles, sequins, cut-outs and paint. Depicts the Virgin Mary, wearing rich robes, her hair loose. She stands beneath a canopy and between two bouquets of flowers; she holds a lily in her hand and tramples on the devil, who takes the form of a serpent biting into an apple. At her feet, two cherubs hold a scroll bearing a handwritten inscription in black ink (in German and partially legible).
