Description
Processional lantern Made of sheet metal and bronze. Square, straight body, with a spire housing a small bell, topped by a Latin cross. The lantern has three sides, each pierced with radiating crosses, whilst the spire is decorated with stylised branches and crosses. The corners are decorated with twisted columns. A stirrup-shaped handle allows it to be carried by hand, and four truncated conical feet complete the design. 19th century Total height 60.5 cm Traces of polychromy.
