Description
Walking stick
Made of black-painted, carved wood and leather. The pommel is adorned with a fluted head, followed by a leather strap, held in place by a painted round-headed nail. The shaft is decorated with an elegant pompom bow, a rose, vine leaves, a frog, a snake coiled around the shaft, and numerous tree branches bearing fruit (oak, peach and pear). The rest of the body is adorned with small ‘breasts’.

Restoration work on the body and wear to the black patina. A missing section at the ferrule and cracks.
