Emile GALLE (1846–1904) Amber-coloured crystal orangeade set, decorated with polychrome hard-enamel paintings of thistle leaves and the Cross of Lorraine, comprising: - a round tray with a raised rim. Signed on the base in brown enamel: “Cristallerie E Gallé Nancy Modèle et décor déposés”. D: 30 cm - a jug, fluted at the base and ribbed above, with a hot-applied handle. Signed with a point under the base: “E Gallé Nancy”. H: 28 cm - three slightly curved glasses with a fluted lower section, made of slightly amber-coloured crystal. Signed under the bases: “E Gallé Nancy”. H: 14 cm An amber-tinted orangeade service designed by Émile Gallé, featuring a polychromatic and gold-enamelled decoration of thistle leaves and Lorraine crosses, comprising: - a round plate with a raised rim.
