Emile GALLE (1846–1904) "Abutilons" circa 1900 An ovoid-shaped cup in transparent smoked glass with a hot-formed four-lobed neck, featuring a design of leaves and flowers finely etched and enamelled in polychrome and gold. Signed “Gallé” in reserve, within the design. H: 10 cm, D: 17 cm An “Abutilons” smoked glass cup designed by Emile Gallé from around 1900, with a finely etched and polychromatic and gold-enamelled decoration of flowers and leaves on an acid-etched background. Signed “Gallé” within the decoration. H: 3.94 inches, D: 6.69 inches
