Emile GALLE (1846–1904) An oval, multi-lobed goblet in green-tinted glass, decorated on both sides with enamelled motifs of herbaceous stems, orchids and mushrooms against a background of scattered dots. Signed on the base “Emile Gallé Série C Delt Ft déposé”, on a background engraved with a mushroom highlighted in gold and bearing an original label “A la Paix Porcelaines, cristaux 34 Avenue de l’Opéra Paris”. 13 x 26 x 20 cm An oval, multi-lobed green-tinted glass cup designed by Emile Gallé, featuring an enamelled design of herbaceous stems, orchids and mushrooms against a background of rain-like dots. Signed on the base “Emile Gallé Série C Delt Ft déposé” within an etched and gilded mushroom, and bearing an original “A la Paix Porcelaines, cristaux 34 Avenue de l’Opéra Paris” tag. 5.12 x 10.24 x 7.87 inches
