Emile GALLE (1846–1904) Green crystal vase with a recessed base and a multi-lobed opening. The upper interior surface has a strongly grained appearance. Decorated with leaves and flowers engraved in intaglio, as well as a floral arrangement painted in polychrome enamels in relief, featuring three cabochons and gold highlights. Signature engraved beneath the base within and around a flower: "Cristallerie de Gallé à Nancy, registered design and decoration". H: 24 cm A green-tinted crystal vase designed by Émile Gallé, with a deeply etched decoration of flowers set amongst polychromatic and gold-enamelled floral patterns and three glass cabochons. Signed “Cristallerie de Gallé à Nancy, modèle et décor déposé” beneath the base, within a flower. H: 9.45 inches
