Emile GALLE (1846–1904) 1890–1894 Green crystal perfume bottle with a base speckled with nuanced orange and red flecks, featuring engraved decoration and polychrome enamel work in high relief depicting orchids and a hot-applied cabochon. Chiselled silver cap decorated with a flower. Silver-rimmed base. Signature ‘Emile Gallé Nancy, Modèle et décor déposés’, engraved beneath the base. Base and cap hallmarked. H: 12 cm A green-tinted crystal flask and its lid designed by Emile Gallé from around 1890–1994, featuring an etched and polychromatic enamelled decoration of orchids and a hot-applied cabochon, set against a background of orange and brown speckles. Silver lid and base with floral decoration. Signed “Emile Gallé Nancy, Modèle et décor déposés” on the base, with hallmarks on the lid and base. H: 4.72 inches
