Emile GALLE (1846–1904) 1890–1894 Green crystal perfume bottle with a base speckled with nuanced orange and red flecks, featuring engraved decoration and polychrome enamel work in high relief depicting orchids and a hot-applied cabochon. Chiselled silver cap decorated with a flower. Silver-rimmed base. Signature ‘Emile Gallé Nancy, Modèle et décor déposés’, engraved beneath the base. Base and cap hallmarked. H: 12 cm A green-tinted crystal flask and its lid designed by Emile Gallé from around 1890–1994, featuring an etched and polychromatic enamelled decoration of orchids and a hot-applied cabochon, set against a background of orange and brown speckles.
