Emile GALLE (1846–1904) “Superimposed bulging suns” 1894 Multi-layered glass vase, baluster-shaped with a bulging body and neck. Engraved reserve decoration of buds and blooming flowers in amber-orange hues, adorned with two glass cabochons (one violet-mauve, the other green-turquoise) hot-applied onto silver foil against a beige and amber background. Signature “Gallé déposé” engraved within a floral motif, beneath the base. H: 23.5 cm (a few bubbles) A “Overlapping bulging suns” ("Overlapping bulging suns") multilayer glass vase designed by Émile Gallé in 1894, featuring an etched design of amber-orange flowers and buds, enhanced by two turquoise-green and violet-purple cabochons hot-applied onto shattered silver leaves against a beige and amber background. “Gallé déposé” etched signature within a flower, beneath the base.
