Emile GALLE (1846–1904) A crystal vase in the shape of a trumpet, with three undulating folds and an oval neck, featuring an engraved ‘en réserve’ decoration of flower clusters partially enamelled with white dots on one side, and ferns engraved in intaglio and highlighted with brown enamel on the other side. Engraved signature ‘Gallé’ in reserve, within the decoration. H: 16 cm; DL: 7 cm A cone-shaped crystal vase designed by Emile Gallé, with three wavy folds and an etched design of umbels partially enamelled with white dots on one side and ferns enhanced with brown enamel on the other. Signed “Gallé” within the design.
