"Rose Wild"
circa 1905–1908
A monumental, multi-layered glass vase with a flared conical shape, a flowing neck and a cascading decoration of maple leaves and samaras in shades of green, yellow and white against a transparent background that is partially acid-etched in shades of yellow-green and pink-beige.
Signed “Gallé*” in reserve, within the decoration.

History:
This design, particularly suited to large vases, was created by Rose Wild (1872–1904), a collaborator of Émile Gallé, who produced it from 1903 onwards and applied it to numerous forms following the master’s death.
A “Rose Wild” tall multilayer glass vase by Gallé – Nancy, circa 10905–1908, featuring a green, yellow and white design of maple samaras and leaves on a milky white, pink and brown background, partially acid-frosted. Signed “Gallé*” within the design.

History:
This design, particularly suited to the decoration of tall vases, was created by Rose Wild (1872–1904), a collaborator of Emile Gallé, who produced it from 1903 (and in numerous forms after the master’s death).
