Description
DAUM - Nancy "Poppies" Double-coloured yellow glass goblet with a hot-formed multi-lobed rim and an all-over decoration of stems, leaves, poricules and poppy flowers, executed in a fine reserve technique and enamelled in red-orange and brown-green with gold highlights, set against a frieze of ferns engraved in reserve and on a background of bright yellow and orange intercalary powders. Base rubbed with gold. Signed “Daum # Nancy” in gold, beneath the base, alongside an original label from the Majorelle firm. D: 12 cm A “Poppies” double-layered yellow-tinted glass cup by Daum - Nancy, with a hot-folded rim and an etched and enamelled design of poppies set amongst a frieze of ferns against a background of yellow and orange powders. Gold-enamelled “Daum # Nancy” signature beneath the base, alongside an original Maison Majorelle label.
