SAMSON, In the style of
An important lidded vase in polychrome glazed porcelain, decorated with baskets of flowers and butterflies in the ‘Green Family’ style. The openwork gilded bronze mount is decorated with crossed laurel branches, centred with small flowers and flanked by four lion’s heads; the handle features falling acanthus leaves surmounted by a pine cone. The whole rests on a circular base with three claw feet, revealing a flame motif at its centre.
