Jumeau - 19th century (circa 1880) France - Baby Jumeau known as Triste or Long Face. Head in pressed bisque, mouth closed. Fixed blue eyes, attached ears, brown wig in natural hair and its cork cap. The head is embossed with a "16", it is mounted on its original body, it has fixed wrists with the big toes well separated, it is marked with a blue stamp "Jumeau médaille d'or Paris". She is wearing a white cotton dress. Height: 84 cm The doll is in attic condition, her head is dirty but in good condition (not cracked). A few small paint chips on a big toe. She is presented in an unmarked wooden box. Sold as is
