Description
A silver-plated metal saupoudroir in the form of a baluster, resting on a circular base chased with ovals and mirrors. The body is chased with lambrequins and leafy cartouches on an amati background. The upper part of the body is chased with military trophies in scrolled cartouches, fleurons and pompons. The lid, which opens with gags, is pierced with fleuron motifs. It ends with a spinning seed.
French work from the first third of the 18th century.
