Important ormolu and black patinated marble mantel set, probably a green and red Levanto.
Richly decorated in the Louis XVI style with garlands of fruit, friezes and foliage:
. Clock decorated with an archaeologist putto, holding a phylactery inscribed with hieroglyphs, the foot on a tablet inscribed in cuneiform, near a truncated column. Signed on the dial and on the drape, dated 1875, the movement signed J. LEFEBVRE FILS Paris.
Height 71, width 49, depth 24 cm
. A pair of baluster vases with snake handles, forming candelabras with five arms of light in the form of lily branches au naturel. One leaf unscrewed.
