Description
Console scroll harp, carved with an acanthus leaf, resting on a fluted fluted column, adorned at the top with a basket of flowers resting on a bracket. with a basket of flowers resting on a console. The terrace is carved with acanthus leaves. Four small claw feet. The soundboard is decorated with cartouches representing the symbols of hunting, gardening, war and music and a bucolic landscape, trophies and wreaths of flowers in Martin varnish. Chinoiserie decorates both sides of the console. Signed "H. Naderman, à Paris". 18th century. 38 strings Hook mechanism 7 pedals H. 168 cm Restored damage to the top of the soundboard and to the fixing side of the mechanical cover (key missing) and the abutment. Not playable 11 string buttons and 10 saddles are missing. The paint and gilding on the column and console are of later date.
