Folded fan, the double sheet of paper painted with a gallant scene evoking ancient love.
The reverse is painted with pink, yellow or red flowers thrown in a jumble.
Mounted in ivory (elephantidae spp).
The throat painted with figures in a rural setting. The plumes enhanced with mother-of-pearl and brown tortoiseshell (cheloniidae spp) with silver piqué decoration.
