Merlin et Cie (In the taste of ) , Agricultural steam locomobile, A rare and superb model made in France in the early 20th century, on approximately 1/4 scale, representing a machine from the late 19th? early 20th? century. It is fitted with a rare vertical-horizontal boiler to power a single cylinder, transforming the energy by a crank-crank mechanism driving two lateral flywheels. The whole unit is mounted on a cast-iron and metal chassis with 4 wheels, 2 of which steer, in keeping with historic agricultural locomobiles. The model features a complete set of fittings (safety valve, pressure gauge, valves), a high folding copper chimney and numerous brass, copper, steel and cast iron components, revealing a meticulous and technically accomplished execution.
