Half-moon shaped wig console. The cabinet is decorated with ribboned satinwood veneer in amaranth frames. It opens with a high drawer and stands on a square sheathed base joined by a crotch shelf. White veined marble top moulded with a small groove. Decorated with small bronzes such as lock escutcheons, pull rings, rosettes and gallery. Parisian work from the Louis XVI period. NB: The falls and triglyphs have been added and four clogs are missing. This highly original piece of furniture is a testimony to production and interior life in the 18th century.
