Description
A pair of gilded wood bergères. The queen-shaped backs are basket-handled and decorated with foliage. They are supported by sinuous brackets. The moulded waistband has a floral apron at the front. The chairs rest on a small arched base. Louis DELANOIS stamped on the two front crosspieces. Parisian work from the Louis XV period. NB: seats re-fashioned, restorations and reinforcements around the edges, one front crosspiece fractured. Height 97 - Depth 61 - Width 76 cm.
