Mahogany writing desk opening with one drawer, a flap concealing a pedestal opening with seven drawers, and two leaves concealing two chest-style drawers in the lower section. The piece is adorned with brass bench mouldings, and stands on a rounded base adorned with brass fluting, and rests on a spindle-shaped base adorned with rings and hooves. Veined white marble top surrounded by an openwork gallery. Parisian work from the end of the Louis XVI period. NB: the lock barrel on the flap is missing. Minor dents on the cabinet, but overall good condition. Height 145 cm, depth 38 cm, width 95 cm.
