Description
A small chest of drawers, curved on three sides, decorated with a veneer of violet wood with "butterfly wings", crossed fillets and frieze veneer. It opens with two drawers in two rows and stands on a curved base. Rance grey marble top moulded with a corbin beak. It has two entrances and two closed sabots on the front. Monogrammed "M.M" on the front right upright. Parisian work from the Regency period. NB: Small handles probably missing on the drawer fronts. Later lock. Restored marble. Restoration to the veneer. Height 81 cm, depth 41 cm, width 67.5 cm.
